Ramen Derivative
Competeing in the severe battle ground with over 5,000 shop, some have tried to differentiate itself from others with uniqe menu, which can be called "Ramen Derivative." The following is the representative example.
Aburasoba
Aburasoba litterally means "Oily noodles", but the name is not necessarily reflecting its own characteristics.
In the bowl of Aburasoba, soup does not cover the noodles, rather stays at the bottom of the bowl. Before eating, Aburasoba needs stirring well to dress the noodles with the souup.
The ingredients of soup are basically the same as ones of ramen, chicken & pork bone based broth and say sauce. (altohough they differ by shops.)
This menu is said to be invented and introduced by Chinchintei in Musashisakai for the first time. It got spotlighted by mass medium 5-6 years ago. Since then, the number of shops offering this menu has incresed, but it has not reached to be major menu like Tsukemen.
