Nanto is actually a generic Japanese restaurant in Daimaru shopping centre.
They serve a variety of food catered to the Japanese community in Singapore.
However, they have a good menu consisting of 8-10 different types of ramen.
The Shouyu ramen stock is pork based & with soy sauce seasoning makes
the broth very tasty. The texture of the noodle is normal. The ramen consist
of chashu(which I feel is abit too lean & dry), bamboo shoots, seaweed
& onions. Overall, I feel that it is comparable to the ones in Tokyo.
The Negi Chiri ramen is miso ramen with chili. The soup is rather spicy,
which covers up the taste of the miso & stock.
