Kintaro Ramen
Contrary to the other reviewer's experience, I've always had good service (and amazing ramen!) here.  All of my friends who've been to Japan say it's the most authentic in Vancouver.  All I know is it's much better than Ezogiku (two locations on Robson St. in Vancouver).

I can't attest to authenticity, but there are pork bones boiling away in a giant cauldron all day, the gyoza is tasty, and you can't get a small, vegetarian or takeout order.  They do only one thing, and do it very well.

I usually get the old standby char siu miso Ramen (approx. $9.50) and always finish it to the last drop.  From tasting my friends', the shio and shoyu are also fine.  Go on Saturday for the Forest Fire Ramen, which is a treat!

Often crowded, but usually the line moves pretty fast.  Highly recommended.

My dad asked me to write this complaint.  The other day, my dad and I were looking for a place to eat.  After pushing me in my stroller for hours, my dad was really hungry.  We saw an interesting spot on Denman and decided to walk in.  Upon entry, we were ignored by the chefs, the waiters, and the busboys.  A few of customers was not impressed by the staff's rude behaviour. We left and ate elsewhere.
My dad told me that every unhappy patron complains to ten others. I hope you don't get this same mistreatment when visiting Kintaro.
