| This is the best ramen shop in all of Los Angeles. No kidding! Excellent
noodles and variety. They also make the best gyoza that I have tasted out side
of Japan. Highly recommended. (Posted by Andrew, 2002.5.15) |

| This is definitely one of my favorite ramenyasan. Service is fast, the food is
good, and it is inexpensive. The two aunties who run it seem to have been there
for many years, and they are quite open to non-Japanese customers although
except for the language they don't change anything else to accommodate them, so
it's a slightly exotic experience in spite of the simple decor and furniture.
Since this is LA, if you're hakujin but still order in Japanese, they hardly bat
an eye, although they do give you an extra smile. You only get a fork if you
ask. I give this restaurant an enthusiastic two thumbs up! (Posted by Jasmin, 2002.1.27) |
