Sapporo Ramen
Consistant and satisfying ramen, managed by a careful and personable owner.  Unlike other ramen shops in Boston it is looked after by nihonjin who are conscerned with preserving the integrity of Japanese ramen.  Good portions, reasonable prices, and quick service.  Stock is a bit salty but at least isn't some dried artificial stuff.  Sometimes a wait at mealtimes and I hope you enjoy eating at a picnic table with other ramen eaters.

Terrible ramen.  I know this place is popular and that it is probably the only ramenya that most people go to but it's just plain bad.
The stock has a chemical taste to it and the gyoza is really bland.
I much prefer to make homemade ramen or go to Mentei in Boston.

I have to agree with bb -- this ramenya is just not very good. Neither the noodles nor the soup are particularly good, and the selection is also limited. I also have to add that when I visited this place I broke out in full-body hives a day later. I don't think I'm going back.

I must defend Sapporo Ramen! This is an excellent meal. Their stock is delicous and addictive (not to salty either). The pork is cooked perfectly. The vegetable versions are crisp and flavorfull. The service is fast and very friendly. Get there early for lunch or late otherwise there is usually a line to get a seat. The communal seating works great except for the dopes who spread their laptops out. All the satisfied faces can't be wrong about the quality of ramen served here.
